Beecroft Primary School statutory proposal and notice period

At its meeting on 27 July 2016, Leeds City Council’s Executive Board approved the publication of a Statutory Notice relating to the expansion of Beecroft Primary School.

A formal proposal has now been published. This is known as a statutory notice, which is published at the start of a period during which representations can be made to the local authority. The statutory notice period runs from 19 September 2016 to 4pm on 17 October 2016.

The proposal is to expand primary provision at Beecroft Primary School from a capacity of 210 pupils to 315 pupils, with an increase in the admission number from 30 to 45 with effect from September 2017. At its meeting on 22 June 2016, Leeds City Council’s Executive Board approved the publication of a Statutory Notice relating to the expansion of Hawksworth Wood Primary School.

A formal proposal has now been published. This is known as a statutory notice, which is published at the start of a period during which representations can be made to the local authority. The statutory notice period runs from 5 July 2016 to 4pm on 2 August 2016.

The proposal is to expand primary provision at Hawksworth Wood Primary School from a capacity of 210 pupils to 420 pupils, with an increase in the admission number from 30 to 60 with effect from September 2017. The proposal is to expand Hunslet Moor Primary School from a capacity of 315 pupils to 420 pupils with an increase in the admission number from 45 to 60 with effect from September 2018.

Consultation events and meetings took place during January and February 2016 to consider the proposal to expand Low Road Primary School from 140 to 210 pupils and to increase the admission limit in reception from 20 to 30 pupils from September 2017.

A report was submitted to Executive Board in April 2016 which sought permission to publish a statutory notice in respect of this proposal. Permission was given and the Notice was published on 28 April 2016.

Carr Manor Community School-Statutory Proposal and Notice Period

Following a period of consultation regarding the expansion of Carr Manor Community School and to establish SEN provision, a formal proposal has now been published. This is known as a statutory notice published at the start of a period during which representations can be made to the local authority.  The statutory notice period runs from 14 December 2015 to 4pm on 11 January 2016.

The proposal is to expand primary provision at Carr Manor Community School from a capacity of 210 pupils to 420 pupils with an increase in the admission number from 30 to 60 with effect from September 2017 and to establish provision for pupils with Complex Communication Difficulties including children who may have a diagnosis of ASC (Autistic Spectrum Condition) for approximately 12 pupils (6 primary, 6 secondary) with effect from September 2017.
