At its meeting on 27 July 2016 Leeds City Council’s Executive Board approved the proposed expansion of Cottingley (Academy sponsor led) Primary Academy from a capacity of 315 pupils to 420 pupils with an increase in the admission number from 45 to 60, with effect from September 2017. This is subject to call-in which ends at 5pm on Friday 5 August 2016. Please follow the link here to access the draft Executive Board minutes. The next steps are for Leeds City Council to work with the school and other partners to agree the design and planning for the expansion. A separate planning process will now take place with relevant consultation.
