Greenside Primary School – Statutory proposal and notice period

Following a period of consultation regarding the expansion of Greenside Primary School, a formal proposal has now been published. This is known as a statutory notice, which is published at the start of a period during which representations can be made to the local authority.  The statutory notice period runs from 14 December 2015 to 4pm on 11 January 2016.

The proposal is to expand primary provision at Greenside Primary School from a capacity of 315 pupils to 420 pupils with an increase in the admission number from 45 to 60 with effect from September 2017.

Following public consultation on the proposal to expand primary provision at Greenside Primary School, a report will be presented to Leeds City Council’s Executive Board on 18 November with the outcomes of the consultation and to seek permission to publish a statutory notice.

The statutory notice period relating to Park Spring Primary School has now ended. The next stage is to report the responses to Executive Board who will then make a decision on whether or not to proceed. We will update you here when we have more information.
