A stakeholder consultation event has previously taken place to look at school places in the Bramley area. (See Armley, Bramley & Wortley page). We reviewed all the comments and suggestions and have now developed a further proposal for this area. We have considered local demographics, the preference patterns of families, potential to expand on the site, highways issues, the location of any new housing and the comments from this forum.
We are now seeking your views on the following proposal:
To expand Bramley Primary School from a capacity of 280 to 420 pupils in its primary phase and to increase the admission limit in reception from 40 to 60 pupils from September 2017.
We would also like your views on the proposal to establish provision for pupils with Complex Communication Difficulties including children who may have a diagnosis of ASC (Autistic Spectrum Condition) from September 2017 for approximately 6 pupils.
This consultation will run from Monday 9 November 2015 to Friday 4 December 2015 at 4pm and during this time there will be drop-in sessions at the school where you can have your say or find out more.
The drop-in sessions will be held at Bramley Primary School in the school hall as follows:
Wednesday 18 November 2015 3:15pm – 6pm
Thursday 19 November 2015 3:15pm – 6pm
