Consultation on a proposal to expand Moor Allerton Hall Primary School

Latest update – Leeds City Council’s Executive Board will consider a report on the outcomes of the consultation at its meeting on 27 June 2018. A link to the report is here.

Roundhay has been experiencing pressure on primary school places for some time. Previous proposals had suggested bringing together Moor Allerton Hall Primary School with Allerton Grange school, to form an all through-school with four forms of entry in the primary phase. However in response to concerns from some parents and the school’s leadership about timings and the scale of change an amended proposal is now out for consultation.

We are proposing a permanent expansion of Moor Allerton Hall Primary School from 2 forms of entry (60 places) to 3 forms of entry (90 places) from September 2019.

The consultation will run from 23 March 2018 to 4pm on 4 May 2018 and during this time there will be three drop-in sessions at the school which will be open to parents, local residents and other interested parties where you can have your say or find out more.

All meetings will be held at Moor Allerton Hall Primary School.
